Join us on Saturday morning, May 4th, for a free public half-day conference at New York University when our theme all morning will be diversity in children’s picture book biographies. We will address such key issues and whose life stories are being celebrated and whose are being neglected; who thoughtfully these life stories are being told for young people; and who is telling the stories and who should or should not be telling them.

Keynote by Cheryl and Wade Hudson. Speakers include Cheryl and Wade Hudson, Javaka Steptoe, Bryon Collier, Raul Colon, and more!
